I worked as a secretary about seven years ago until I decided to stay home and raise my children. I want to get back to working again but am insecure about my job skills, especially since computer use has advanced so much. What should I do?

You have the interest and the background in office work. You just need to update your skills. First, contact your local city/county technical school and enroll in their administrative assistant certificate program or take business software courses in word processing, spreadsheets, publishing, internet research, etc a la carte.
